How to rotate PDF pages and delete unwanted pages
- Choose a PDF and wait for the page thumbnail grid to appear.
- Select “Rotate 90°” on any page to turn it clockwise. Select “Delete” to leave a page out, or “Restore” to bring it back.
- Keep at least one page, then choose “Save edited PDF”. Download and review the new file.
A sideways worksheet or an extra blank page can interrupt an otherwise useful study document. The thumbnail editor gives every page its own controls, so you can fix orientation and remove pages without rewriting the rest of the PDF. Page numbers refer to the original file’s physical positions. Removing page two, for example, does not rename the other thumbnails while you are deciding what to keep.
Each rotation adds 90 degrees clockwise to that page’s existing orientation. Click twice for a half turn or four times to return to the starting orientation. Deleted pages remain visible with a muted preview and a Restore button until you clear or replace the file. This makes it easy to change your mind before exporting. At least one page must remain in the saved document.
Thumbnail editing supports PDFs with up to 300 pages and 150 MB of input. For a longer document, extract the relevant section with Split PDF first. The saved PDF is a new file; your original stays untouched. Page content is copied rather than converted into screenshots, but document-level features such as bookmarks, forms, and digital signatures may not survive. This is not a secure redaction tool: use a dedicated redaction workflow for sensitive material inside a page. Review your download before distributing it.
A few useful answers
Can I undo deleting a page?
Yes. Select “Restore” on a deleted thumbnail before saving. Your original file also remains unchanged on your device.
Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?
The tool changes page rotation rather than rasterizing the page. Ordinary text and images are copied into the new PDF.
Can I delete every page?
No. A PDF needs at least one page. Restore a page before saving if you have marked them all for deletion.
Is deleting pages the same as redaction?
No. This tool omits selected pages from a newly created PDF; it is not designed to redact sensitive content within a page or sanitize document metadata.
